Raspberry Filling:
- 1 cup raspberry jam or preserves
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- ½ cup fresh raspberries, optional
Cream Cheese Glaze:
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Dough Preparation: In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit until foamy. Add sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually mix in flour to form a dough. Knead until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
- Raspberry Filling: Cook raspberry jam, cornstarch, and water until thickened. Cool.
- Assembly: Roll out dough, spread raspberry filling, add fresh raspberries, roll into a log, slice into rolls, and place in a baking dish.
- Baking: Let rise, then bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes.
- Cream Cheese Glaze: Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Spread over warm rolls.
Notes
- You can substitute raspberry jam with any berry preserves.
- For a brighter flavor, add lemon zest to the filling.
