Rajma Kebab Ingredients:
- 1 cup dried rajma (kidney beans), soaked overnight and cooked until soft
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup grated carrot
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for shallow frying
For Serving:
- 6 mini slider buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Onion rings
- Mayonnaise or chutney
Instructions
- Mash the Rajma: In a large bowl, mash the cooked rajma until smooth but slightly chunky.
- Prepare the Mixture: Add onion, garlic, ginger, green chili, carrot, breadcrumbs, cilantro, cumin, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to form a dough.
- Shape the Patties: Divide the mixture into 6 portions and shape them into patties.
- Shallow Fry: Fry the patties in hot oil until golden and crisp on both sides.
- Assemble Sliders: Toast buns, spread mayo/chutney, add lettuce, patty, tomato, onion, and bun top. Serve hot.
