Rajma Kebab Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried rajma (kidney beans), soaked overnight and cooked until soft

  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated carrot
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for shallow frying

For Serving:

  • 6 mini slider buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Onion rings
  • Mayonnaise or chutney

Instructions

  1. Mash the Rajma: In a large bowl, mash the cooked rajma until smooth but slightly chunky.
  2. Prepare the Mixture: Add onion, garlic, ginger, green chili, carrot, breadcrumbs, cilantro, cumin, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to form a dough.
  3. Shape the Patties: Divide the mixture into 6 portions and shape them into patties.
  4. Shallow Fry: Fry the patties in hot oil until golden and crisp on both sides.
  5. Assemble Sliders: Toast buns, spread mayo/chutney, add lettuce, patty, tomato, onion, and bun top. Serve hot.
