Description

Coating:

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

  • lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Prepare Coating: Mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat Tilapia: Pat dry tilapia, brush with olive oil, coat in Parmesan mixture.
  4. Bake: Place fillets on the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until cooked through and golden.
  5. Serve: Garnish with parsley, serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil the fillets for 1–2 minutes at the end.
  • Cod or haddock can be used as substitutes for tilapia.
