Description

A revitalizing Lemon Ginger Turmeric Shot packed with fresh ginger, turmeric, citrus fruits, and a hint of black pepper to enhance absorption. This invigorating beverage is perfect for a quick health boost and supports immunity and digestion.

Ingredients

Scale

Roots

  • 40 g Raw Ginger Root
  • 80 g Raw Turmeric Root

Citrus Fruits

  • 1 Lemon
  • 2 Oranges

Liquids & Spices

  • 200 mL Filtered Water
  • 6 Pinches Ground Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Roots: Rinse and peel the ginger and turmeric roots carefully, then chop them into small pieces to facilitate blending.
  2. Prepare the Citrus: Peel and slice the lemon and oranges, ensuring to remove any seeds to avoid bitterness.
  3. Blend Ingredients: Combine the chopped ginger, turmeric, sliced lemon and oranges with 200 mL of filtered water in a blender and blend until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Strain the Mixture: Pour the blended mix through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove pulp and fibers for a smooth shot.
  5. Portion and Season: Divide the juice into small vials, approximately 60 mL each, then add a pinch of ground black pepper to each vial to enhance turmeric absorption.

Notes

  • Use fresh turmeric and ginger roots for the best flavor and potency.
  • The black pepper increases the bioavailability of curcumin in turmeric.
  • Store the shots in the refrigerator and consume within 3-4 days for optimal freshness.
  • Use a high-quality blender for smoother consistency.
  • If you prefer a less intense flavor, dilute with additional filtered water before serving.
