  • 1 zucchini (diced)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth or water
  • fresh parsley or cilantro (chopped, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil.
  2. Cook sweet potatoes: Add diced sweet potatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes until they begin to soften.
  3. Cook ground turkey: Add ground turkey and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Add vegetables and spices: Stir in onion, garlic, red bell pepper, zucchini, smoked paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Simmer: Pour in chicken broth, cover, and simmer for 5-7 minutes until sweet potatoes are tender.
