Crust:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Toppings:
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Prepare the crust: Mix melted butter, flour, sugar, and salt. Press into the pan and bake until golden.
- Layer the toppings: Combine sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Pour over the crust, then add chocolate chips, pecans, and caramel sauce.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Cool and serve: Cool completely, refrigerate, then slice into bars.
Notes
- For a salted caramel twist, sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before baking.
- You can use walnuts instead of pecans if desired.
