Ingredients

Scale

Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Toppings:

  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare the crust: Mix melted butter, flour, sugar, and salt. Press into the pan and bake until golden.
  3. Layer the toppings: Combine sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Pour over the crust, then add chocolate chips, pecans, and caramel sauce.
  4. Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. Cool and serve: Cool completely, refrigerate, then slice into bars.

Notes

  • For a salted caramel twist, sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before baking.
  • You can use walnuts instead of pecans if desired.
