Description

Easy Protein Boxes are a quick, nutritious snack option featuring balanced portions of protein, fruit, and whole grains. Perfect for on-the-go meals or packed lunches, these boxes combine hardboiled eggs, cheese, nuts, fruits, and crackers to keep you energized throughout the day.

Ingredients

Scale

Egg & Fruit Box

  • 1 hardboiled egg, halved
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1/2 apple, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 5 to 6 woven wheat crackers
  • 1/4 cup grapes

Cheese & Cracker Box

  • 4 ounces cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1/2 apple, sliced
  • 6 to 8 woven wheat crackers

Instructions

  1. Prepare Egg & Fruit Box: Sprinkle the halved hardboiled egg with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Place the peanut butter into a small container for easy dipping. Arrange the sliced apple, grapes, peanut butter container, egg halves, and woven wheat crackers evenly in a plastic or glass container. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to eat to keep all components fresh.
  2. Assemble Cheese & Cracker Box: Combine the cubed cheese, almonds, sliced apple, and woven wheat crackers in a separate plastic or glass container. Chill in the refrigerator until serving to maintain freshness and texture.

Notes

  • Use fresh, ripe fruit for the best flavor and texture.
  • Hardboil the eggs ahead of time for convenience.
  • Substitute peanut butter with almond butter for a different nutty flavor.
  • Choose your favorite cheese varieties like cheddar or gouda for variety.
  • Store the boxes in airtight containers to maintain freshness.
