Ingredients
Scale
Fudge Base
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Cinnamon Swirl
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare the Cinnamon Swirl: In a small bowl, thoroughly combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Set this mixture aside to be used later for swirls.
- Line the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides to make removing the fudge easier after it’s set.
- Make the Fudge Base: In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly to prevent burning, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
- Add Flavorings: Remove the fudge base from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and ground cinnamon until evenly mixed.
- Assemble the Fudge: Pour the warm fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.
- Swirl the Cinnamon Mixture: Drizzle the cinnamon swirl mixture over the fudge and gently swirl it in using a knife or toothpick, creating a marbled effect.
- Chill and Set: Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 3 hours, or until the fudge is firm to the touch.
- Cut and Serve: Use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge from the pan. Cut into 16 squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- Ensure to stir the fudge base constantly on low heat to prevent the chocolate from burning or separating.
- Use parchment paper for easy removal and clean cutting of the fudge.
- For a stronger cinnamon flavor, you can increase the cinnamon in the swirl or fudge base slightly to taste.
- Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- This fudge can also be frozen for up to 3 months; thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
