- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz cremini or white mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Cooked egg noodles or rice, for serving
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil, sauté chicken until golden and cooked through, then set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: Sauté onion and garlic, add mushrooms, sprinkle flour, pour in broth, add Worcestershire sauce and mustard, simmer until thickened. Stir in sour cream.
