- 38 mini twist or snap-style pretzels
 - 1 bag Kraft caramels (about 38 caramels)
 - 1 green apple
 - 1 red apple
 
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 250°F (about 120°C) to prepare for melting the caramels on the pretzels evenly.
 - Prepare the baking sheet: Line a 9×13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
 - Arrange pretzels: Place the 38 mini pretzels on the baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart to allow even melting of the caramels.
 - Add caramels: Unwrap each Kraft caramel and place one in the center of each pretzel.
 - Bake caramels: Bake the pretzel and caramel combination for 10 minutes, then remove the sheet from the oven.
 - Prepare apples: While the pretzels bake, wash, dry, core, and chop the green and red apples into bite-sized pieces about 1 to 1½ inches, leaving the peel on. To prevent browning, soak the apple pieces in a bowl of water or Sprite.
 - Insert toothpicks: Once the pretzels and caramels are out of the oven, insert a toothpick into each apple piece, ensuring the peel side faces up and the toothpick extends slightly from the bottom for easy handling.
 - Assemble bites: Press each apple piece with toothpick firmly into the melted caramel on top of each pretzel, flattening slightly to cover more of the pretzel surface.
 - Rest and serve: Allow the caramel apple bites to cool and set for at least 5 minutes before serving to ensure they hold together well.
