Ingredients
Scale
Buffalo Chicken Mixture
- 1 batch crockpot buffalo chicken
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 2 green onions, sliced
Sliders
- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
- ¼ to ½ cup ranch dressing
- 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, grated
Garlic Butter Topping
- 4 tablespoons salted butter, melted
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F to prepare for baking the sliders.
- Mix Buffalo Chicken: In a large mixing bowl, combine the crockpot buffalo chicken, diced celery, and sliced green onions thoroughly.
- Assemble Sliders: Slice the Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves. Drizzle ranch dressing over the chicken, then sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese on top. Place the top halves of the rolls back onto the assembled sliders.
- Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped fresh parsley until well combined. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the slider rolls to add flavor and promote browning.
- Bake Sliders: Cover the baking pan with aluminum foil and bake for 13 minutes to heat through and melt the cheese. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 4 to 6 minutes until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and fully melted.
Notes
- For spicier sliders, add extra hot sauce to the buffalo chicken mixture.
- Use Hawaiian rolls for a soft, sweet contrast, but you can substitute with other slider buns if preferred.
- The ranch dressing amount can be adjusted to taste or substituted with blue cheese dressing for a different flavor.
- Make sure to brush garlic butter evenly to ensure an attractive golden top and great aroma.
- These sliders are best served warm and fresh from the oven.
