Blackberry Colada is a vibrant and refreshing cocktail blending the sweetness of blackberry liquor, pineapple rum, and rich Italian creamer with a tropical twist. Perfect for summer gatherings, this colorful drink features layers of fruity flavors balanced with a smooth whipped vodka finish, garnished elegantly with fresh blackberries and a pineapple wedge.

Ingredients

Scale

Liquor and Mixes

  • 2 oz Blackberry Liquor
  • 1 oz Pineapple Rum
  • 2 oz Tom Collins Mix
  • 1 oz Blackberry Syrup
  • 3 oz Whipped Vodka

Other Ingredients

  • Drop neon purple food coloring
  • 4 oz Italian Creamer
  • 2 cups Ice (divided)

Garnishes

  • Fresh Blackberries
  • Pineapple wedge

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: In a cocktail shaker, combine the blackberry liquor, pineapple rum, Tom Collins mix, blackberry syrup, and a drop of neon purple food coloring. Add 1 cup of ice and shake vigorously to mix and chill the ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Add the Creamer and Vodka: Pour the shaken mixture into two 8 oz glasses filled with 1 cup of ice each. Slowly add 1.5 oz of whipped vodka and 2 oz of Italian creamer into each glass, allowing the layers to form and create a smooth creamy texture.
  3. Garnish and Serve: Garnish each glass with fresh blackberries and a pineapple wedge on the rim. Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy the cold, tropical flavors.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of neon purple food coloring to achieve the desired color intensity.
  • Use fresh blackberries for best garnish presentation and flavor.
  • Shake the mixture well to ensure the flavors are well blended before adding creamer and vodka.
  • Serve chilled for the best taste experience.
